ENGR-356 Electronics - HW# 12 Due Friday 02/14/20
Work through examples 6.4 to 6.11 that you may not already
have done and read any part of chapter 6 you have not yet done.
Do problems 6.50, 6.69a, 6.69b. Problem 6.69c can be done as
extra credit. An additional hint on problem 69c. Label the
voltage at the collector of Q3 to be V and the current through
the 20Kohm resistor below as I. Then draw a loop around Q3
and Q4 to call it a super node. Write an expression summing
the 5 currents in/out of this part of the circuit, write
expressions for each current, and substitute. Solve for V.
As stated in the problem definition, assume initially that
transistors are in saturation which gives you some known
voltages or voltage relationships.
